… well, none.
Youth With A Mission or YWAM is a global movements of christians from different denominational backgrounds with a goal to "know God, and make Him known."
The 8th of the 18 official values of Youth with a Mission is to "be international and interdenominational." YWAM believes that denominational diversity contributes to the health and growth of our mission.
What does being interdenominational actually mean?
Being interdenominational means being able to relate and cooperate with Christians across various denominations. That means that YWAM does not belong to any single denomination and is open to people from any denomination to join.
If YWAM is interdenominational, what do they believe in then?
That is another great question! Youth With A Mission exists in almost every country on earth and has staff and students from all sorts of different denominational backgrounds, what does YWAM believe and teach in its programs?
Though YWAM does not belong to any specific denomination, for someone to consider themselves a YWAM staff member they must joyfully embrace the YWAM organizational Statement of Purpose, Core Beliefs, & Foundational Values.
Youth With A Mission affirms the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the absolute reference point for every aspect of life and ministry. Based upon God’s Word, who He is, and His initiative of salvation through the atoning work of Jesus (His death, burial, and resurrection), the following responses are strongly emphasized in YWAM:
