The World Needs German Missionaries

The World Needs German Missionaries

Germany, oh Germany what a beautiful gift you are. Home of fairytale castles, beautiful landscapes, and breads galore it might seem hard to pinpoint the best thing about the nation, but after living here for years it’s the strong, dedicated, passionate, people that take the prize.

For centuries Germany has been a topic of conversation all over the world for discoveries and creations like the printing press, television, aspirin, and the car! Praised for its architectural brilliance, technological and medical advancements, and incredible economy, Germany has proven over and over that it is a creative powerhouse. But I must protest because the reality is that “Germany” did not accomplish this, Germans did. Individual men and women with the audacity to believe in a better future and the steadfastness to follow through to the very end.

This all leads me to make a logical and bold statement. Germans are not only important but necessary for world missions. Why?

You know how to catch a vision from God

Your obedience to Jesus drives you beyond the fear of people. Casting away the past and expectations others may have, Germans are able to step into the fullness of what God designed for them.

People listen when Germans Speak

You are an authoritative people that others want to follow and you have a strong, genuine, earnest voice others want to listen to. Once Germans find their voice in Jesus you speak with boldness and passion from a place of great conviction.

Germans build Deep Relationships

You build relationships slowly, with a strong foundation, dedicating time and putting effort into cultivating deep, meaningful connections. Once you have a German friend, you have a friend for life.

Germany’s story is unique and carries an inspiring testimony of “ashes to beauty”. As a nation, you have experienced absolute brokenness, but have also experienced an incredible restoration that allows you to speak into the brokenness of others. Germany has a history of people and movements that have brought the name of Jesus to the ends of the earth and reformed the body of Christ. There is not just space for Germans to do more in world missions, you have the power and ability to do it and history on your side to prove it.

You see, missionaries aren’t that different than Germans, they are individual men and women with the audacity to believe in a better future and the steadfastness to follow through to the very end. So then… what are you waiting for?

The world needs you.
