Greetings from YWAM Nuremberg! Over the past months we have been working hard to renovate the Wonderland Creative Studios. We are renting a building that used to be a furniture store near the main train station of Nuernberg. It’s a great location. With the help of awesome volunteers and donations from friends and strangers, we are able to transform this building into a creative community space with a gallery, cafe, studios and office space. We are so thankful for the way we have seen God provide from paint brushes and new floors to cafe equipment. Mission builders and teams have come through to support us in renovations and other ministry areas and things are moving quickly now.
If you are in the area and want to see it in real life, you should come by and check it out!
On May 28 at 1pm we will have a Friends of YWAM BBQ for everyone who is interested in seeing our base while it is still under construction. By then the new floors will be finished and you can get an idea of the potential that Wonderland holds. The grand opening of Wonderland Creative Studios will be this summer with an exhibition of photographer Jan C. Schlegel and many surprises. Stay tuned!
Although Wonderland is still under construction, we are using the offices to gather as a community and run our ministries. One of these is our red light ministry team KALEO and they have recently launched their new website! To find out more about their work and vision go to wearekaleo.de
In June the Marriage of the Arts (MOTA) staff team is going on tour. We want to speak in churches, youth-groups, or even in school classrooms. Our aim is to explain the MOTA, share stories of what the Lord has done, and invite new students to join us for the next school. But more than anything else we want that in all we say and do Christ would be glorified. We want to call young people into the great commission! The next MOTA DTS starts in September 2016 and there is still time to apply: mota-nuremberg.com
